Maybe it's a conflict with the theme you're using? Something in the CSS there? The only other suggestion I can think of is to take it to the plugin developer, but since your code is working on this WordPress setting, I would be tempted to say it's an issue with something else. I don't really know what else to suggest. Sorry!
